YA book (with drawings - it's a diary format) about a girl whose group of friends are misfits and her mum has abandoned her. Read from anytime between 2017 to 2019 (I think) but may have been published earlier

The girl is depicted to have short hair from what I can remember. The other characters from what I can remember - her best friend is a girl who's very keen on getting into an IVY League school but her parents have too many kids and she has to help look after them. She has another friend who's a Christian guy and likes to ask What Would Jesus Christ Do? to help him know the right path of action. She has some other friends - guy with lots of acne, girl who's parents own a Chinese restaurant I think, girl who's overweight.

The main character is friends with her older neighbour and at one point when the neighbour is sick she uses her wheelchair to get an ambulance and when that's done she stands up from the wheelchairs so the paramedics are shocked.

Also there's this new assistant teacher who did college really early and that's why he's only a year older than her. He mentions how lonely college was for him because he couldn't drink and was too young to do anything. He asks her out towards the end of the book.

Also her mum, from what I remember, just left her by herself a lot.

Oh and at one point she bites the finger of this guy who was not consensually touching her. She worked at a country club I think.
