YA Coming of Age Novel from late 2000s/early 2010s set in a small town with female MC

Hello all!

I first read this book in middle school, which was 2008 - 2011. The main character was a high school aged girl. I believe her uncle/grandpa owned an observatory or a planetarium. She would sit on a hill overlooking main street and watch other teens from her school cruise in their cars. The coffee shop was on main street and was penguin or igloo themed but I can’t remember the name of it.
