An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. So sad because I’m a fan of Hank but I could not even get through the first 50 pages the main character was so cringe lol

Meridian Stone. approximately 900 pages of writing AND characters that somehow progressively got worse as the book wore on. finishing that book was an actual feat of physical, emotional, and mental fortitude on my part. the main character was an oversexed girl with the mindset of a pre-teen who had like 6 "god-like" males who were hundreds of years old falling all over themselves to get in her pants. probably one of the worst books I've ever read and I'm annoyed just thinking about it lol

I may get some dislike from this, but Powerless was very cringe for me. I'm not sure if it was the writing style, the tropes, the characters, the (in my opinion) lack of depth in the book, or a combination of all of those things, but I found Powerless to be a cringy read for my personal tastes >:)
