question if my book is defective

I ordered my book from amazon (was my first mistake) but I think its missing half of its map..
the last book on the first page as soon as you opened it had a map I believe on the inside of the cover page and the next page or something like that.
so I am just wondering if anyone knows if this book is supposed to be the same or only supposed to have half of the map?? but I don't think that is the case... just reaching out to see if the books defective or not..
