The covers are drawn, not models, and it's like a paper cutout art style, with all the girls in the friend group on the cover. each book in the series focuses on a new topic or a different girl.

I think the first book starts with a new girl moving to town and starting school with them. Potential spoiler: in the first book they all go to the new girl's apartment and find a secret ladder that leads to the roof. In the second book one of the girls (I think her name might have been isabella?) makes blankets for charity and wins a competition.

Diverse group of girls and the covers really stood out.

I don't think it was very popular/ well known so I havent been able to find it anywhere online but I read it around 2010 or maybe later.
