This been bugging me for years, i remembered reading this YA book a bit. But i remembered the cover of the book is 3 worlds in red landscape. One of the worlds is covered in ice, one of the worlds is having wars, and the last one having peace (i think). I remember reading it around 2009 - 2010 ish.
The protagonist is 3 orphans; a girl, and 2 boys.

Also if i remembered correctly, the author have other YA novel where one of the protagonist is a shapeshifter and the names are short like IO or something.
