SOLVED. Children’s book about refusing to bathe. 1990’s/early 2000’s. [s]

I am planning a community wellness day for kids. I’m looking for books and activities for the kids. I remember this book from my childhood about a boy who refused to take a bath. He got all muddy and covered in germs. I think the book was mostly orange and brown. I remember some rag mountain maybe. I don’t remember if he gets sick or something.

Update: I found this post on Reddit about the book I’m looking for. They provide more detail so hearts hoping it’s not another Mandela effect:
“All i remember was it had a yellow cover with a boy either in a tub or in his dirty white robe. He was 12 yrs old and he didnt like taking baths. So one day when his parents were away he went into this dirty world full of dirty kids and they all were playing in the garbage and eating out of dirty plates and his robe was dirty but near the end of the book he realized that being dirty was not his life style so when he went back home he started to take more good care of himself”

None of those were the right book. I was very hopeful of the prince Oliver book but the images weren’t it. I remember the illustrations were cartoon-like. And the backgrounds were orange
