SOLVED: Children's/YA > SOLVED. Children's Nonfiction book where a bunch of anthropomorphic body "parts" (white blood cell, mucus, ear wax, etc...) all wearing a sash with their name on it and loafers explain how the human body works. Read early 1990s. [s]

Thomas | 2 comments I had this book back in the early 90s and would guess it was written around then too. I remember the characters being a collection of body "parts", including a white blood cell, a mucus blob, and ear wax guy. They all had beady eyes, wore sashes with their name on them, and were drawn in a style reminiscent of The Stinky Cheese Man.

I think the book repeated something along the lines of "it's a most sensational - something something - body" or something to that effect. Now that I think about it, the book may have focused more on the body's immune system.

I know it's not a lot to go on, but I think it's enough if you ever read the book. I've been looking for years and would love to find this one. Thank you for your help!
