I'll be reading as well from The Capitol! I've got the audio from the library.
A lot of us will be joining in from District 13, we had planned a buddy read on the side before this announcement, so this works out well!

I've been meaning to reread these books for years so I'm here for The Capitol.
I enjoyed this the first time I read it. Hoping my perception hasn’t changed although I will be listening to the audio this time around 🤔🤷♀️

I have done some library borrows and filled up my Kindle Unlimited limit of 20 today in preparation already :) I was fortunate the two BOM's for June came in even though they seemed to have a long hold at Libby. Good thing I can borrow now and turn off Wi-Fi in case!

Oh good idea to switch off wifi. I had A Court of Silver Flames and didn’t realise it was about to expire and then 20 hours in.. book disappeared 😂 luckily only had to wait a week to get it back
I always have my Kindle in airplane mode to save battery, and have been known to leave it that way to protect a book. But I once had an audiobook from the library that was due back about an hour sooner than I would be finished. I put my phone in airplane mode, and I still lost the book at the time it was due!

Have only done with E-Books and Kindles with the library hack

But I once had an audiobook from the library that was due back about an hour so..."I've once had an audiobook disappear 15 minutes before the end and didn't get it back for two months 🫠 I've done the kindle airplane mode trick a bunch of times though (sometimes by accident, since I always have it in airplane mode too unless I'm trying to put something on there).
It has also glitched a couple of times and now I just... have those books... on my kindle... forever...
I just realized that other day that I only had read the first book - I think. I thought I had read the first and second book years ago but when I checked Goodreads, it says I just read the first. I did see all the movies, so perhaps that's where my confusion is coming from.
I know I binged all three of them in a month when the first movie came out. Our neighbour had lend them to me even though we're like not in touch at all. Good thing social media was already a thing back then and I saw that she owned them haha.

I am ridiculous about marking every book read on Goodreads, so not sure what happened there. Either way, excited to read the three this time. I do know for an absolute fact I did not read the third.

Yes!! I read each book as it was released and same with the movies!

My son used to go over to my mother's when he was younger and she watched him for me while I had to work. He would watch all these movies with her. She usually did not think she would like them, but she got hooked on the X-men movies thanks to him, and I came home when they were watching the first Hunger Games and were riveted to the screen. She told me she knew what it was about and didn't think it was something she would like but got hooked.

Synopsis:
