I’ve read a lot of the most popular but does anyone have any lesbian recs? The only categories I don’t like is thriller/ mystery my favorite is scifi!!

i mean if you haven't yet i will always recommend gideon the ninth by tamsyn muir, its a mix of sci fi and fantasy

other than that (if we're only regarding sci fi) i know other people love a memory called empire by arkady martine, i personally loathe it but i seem to be in the minority on that one so who knows, maybe you'll love it!

I will never stop recommending Lee Winter. "The brutal truth" and "Breaking character" are just CHEF KISS :')

absolutely seconding gideon the ninth, and i also loved the mimicking of known successes (which is mystery, but is also sci-fi, so you can make your own call on that one!)

Also second Gideon the Ninth. It's super deep tho and you'll need multiple readings to catch everything. Also be sure to read the bonus chapters at the end of the books.

Like lesbian Dr. Who (time travel) + Good Omens (opposite sides but vibe very quickly) fanfiction, in the best, most beautifully-written way: This is How You Lose the Time War

If you're OK with the protagonist being bisexual (having male exes that we meet) but with the book's focus being on her pining over and ending up with a woman...and like the idea of alternate universes: The Space Between Worlds

If you like a gothic/lovecraftian horror mashup and are OK with sad: Our Wives Under the Sea

If you're OK with the lesbian couple being one part of a larger cast (though also part of the inciting incident and very cute): The Doors of Eden

If you want cozy light sci-fi vibes: Always Human
