Chloe Wingham | 2 comments What I know: I read this book in 2020-2021. I'm almost positive there was pink on the cover and it looked like your average teenage romance novels. And I know for a fact the opening scene was a boy and girl at the pool, because that first scene was kind of sexual and random.
Plot line #1: A girl is auditioning for a lead role for her high school play, but along the way she falls in love with the drama teacher. They decide to run away together, but shortly after the girl starts questioning her choices. She tells him that she wants to go back home and he grows upset. He explains that since she was underage, he can't simply just go back. He lost his job and as far as the public is aware, he kidnapped her. She is manipulated into staying, but asks to go back to school and finish her education.
Plot line #2: A boy is dating an annoying, "popular" girl at school and he grows tired of her crap, dumping almost immediately. He then meets this mysterious girl who seems to be in trouble. They end up falling in love.
Plot Twist: The girl he falls in love with is the girl who fell in love with the drama teacher. When the former teacher learns about this, he chases him out the house with a weapon, in an attempt to kill him.
Dilemna: I don't remember the characters names, the author, book title, or much else about the book.
