Going to send it over!

I added it to the list of timers on the spreadsheet, although I've labeled it as "Arena Battle #1 Reading - START" because a timer for both planning end and reading start sounded like overkill when they're the same time. ;)

Just doing a quick cross check of the spreadsheet in case the Mods want us to have our official sheet updated for the weekend.
Ashley - I added The Drowning Woman to the sheet, if you can add the resources for it please.
Cindy - I see B is for Burglar on your read shelf but not your challenge shelf, does this count for the challenge? If so, please add it!
Jax - I added date and page count for How the Light Gets In, please add resources when you can.
Kylie - I added The Secrets of Love Story Bridge, if you can please add resources.
Lucy - I don't see Crushed on your read or challenge shelf, can you get it added please?
Rosina - Can you add Magic Bites to your challenge shelf, please?

If you've claimed a book for the Arena Battle and didn't already add it to the planning spreadsheet, I've added it.
I highlighted all the Arena Battle books in green and entered in their respective mini codes - to help keep the captains organized. You'll still have to enter in pages and resources as you read, but just a heads up that they are on the sheet already. :)

Battle 1 Chain
D3 - American Dirt
D13 - The Dirty Book Club
D3 - The Lubetkin Legacy
D13 - A Cyclist's Guide to Crime & Croissants
D3 - N'Tsuk
D13 - Sukiyaki, Gospel, and Jazz
D3 - The Jazz of Physics
D13 - The Physics of Climate Change
D3 - The Angel of Waterloo
D13 - Looking for Me
D3 - Ormeshadow
D13 - Down the Darkest Road
D3 - The Road to Bittersweet
D13 - Sweet Revenge
D3 - Vengeance of a Mafia Queen
D13 - Eeny Meeny

Good point - I think it would only count as four! lol
I did ask a question in the captain's group about how to best use a supply drop to help cover an overlap, but I've got to head to bed. I'm sure Shelby will keep an eye on it/have some ideas when she gets home.
We did have some quick turn over times on our last few books so we back to ~8 hours per book, so we have a little time. :)

Maybe for one of the more adventurous readers :D

Possibly self published.

If you like fantasy it might be a good read.

I hear you. But right now my competitive side is winning, so I'm going to start the first book in the series. Because what I can't do is read series out of order.

Vicky you had said you're down to take on The Jazz of Physics instead, so I'm good with that or if someone else wants to take this one. I'm fine with whatever. But this pick leaves us with 37pts to their current 34pts and I'm doubtful they can find something for RLD, they'll likely have to go to ORLD as least.

I'll start either The Ends of the World: Supervolcanoes, Lethal Oceans, and the Search for Past Apocalypses or The Jazz of Physics first thing tomorrow on my walk in to work depending if someone wants to take one or the other. I'm also fine reading both as I can burn through both audio's quickly and they fit categories for another challenge. I've also started to read the first book in the fantasy series which shouldn't take me too long as they're not overly long so should be ready to start Enyo's Warrior by tomorrow or Sunday as well.

And yes, I can take The Jazz of Physics off your plate. I already have it loaded up on Hoopla!
We can start reading in just under 14 hours! Remember we have until the turn over time next Saturday to read these (I added a timer to the read sheet) so please to everyone who has claimed a book - keep us posted if life happens so we can try and get your book covered. :)

So say we were…
1 Read
2 Read
3 Read
4 Read
5 Read
6 Unread
7 Read
8 Read
9 Read
10 Read
We would only get battle points for books 1-5. Anything after the missed book wouldn’t count towards the battle.

Love that song!

This was definitely not the best week in the challenge for me to have extremely limited internet access. We are home and back on the grid. I updated the resources for The Drowning Woman on the spreadsheet.
Thank you all for being rock stars and planning this whole battle. Happy reading!
