YA or Children Fantasy. Two children trying to find/ get a magical golden disk. Read 2010-2013.

Read sometime between 2010-2013, I remember the book cover being beautiful, I’m pretty sure it was a city on the edge of a turquoise ocean that took up most of the cover, the book was about two children who were trying to find a magical golden disk, the scene I remember the most is they answer a riddle to get into a room where there’s a fountain of blue fire with the disk at the bottom. One of them reaches in and the fire burns her but she pushes through and pulls out the disk (I’m like 90% sure it was a disk). She is surprised to find her hand completely fine after she removes it. She finds out later that the fire only takes effect if you fail to retrieve the disk.

Just a guess because I don't remember the fire thing but the maguffin is a gold disk: Down Town?

That’s not it. Tbh I’m not even 100% sure what they’re looking for was a disk but I am certain that the cover had the ocean on it and I remember thinking it was super pretty.
