I know we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but holy hell have you seen the gorgeous coverwork for Clockwork Angel? That was the only thing which persuaded me to give me the book a try last year, and I'm so glad I did. I just hope everyone else loves this book as much as I did.
That's what originally drew me in... All of her books have such gorgeous covers... not going to lie.. I judge by covers. If your cover can't draw me in, I don't pick it up unless it's been suggested to me by a fellow bookworm.
I love this book! I love this world more than Mortal Instruments.. I don't know why. It seems that she loved this world more and wrote more because of it. It just left a better taste in my mouth that MI.

I love this book! Well the 2nd book is more my favorite though.I agree Savannah, this series was better than TMI.
I didn't really like City of Bones, so I'm not interested in continuing that series, but I HAVE heard that this series is much better, so I'm excited to give it a try. And yes, her covers are beautiful. :)
I read this a while ago (@ least a year) but I liked it more than The Mortal Instruments too. I think I really liked the steampunk-y aspect. Plus, throw a stringed instrument in any book and you've got my attention. Too bad it didn't work out between If I Stay and me but I loved this whole series and Jem is a gem!
I'm not a graphic novel person, which is weird cause I love all the movies an shows based on them - okay most of them...
