YA/dystopian(ish)- some sort of race, and at the end the teenagers have to forget everyone else so this one girl writes down the name of a guy on her hand and her mother (who is one of the bad guys?) sees it when her daughter is sleeping and starts crying

I think there's also a time when the guy gets injured when a tree branch and the girl (who must have some sort of medical knowledge) uses a cloth and heated up metal cylinder to heal it. I hope this is the same book and not a different one
Also at one point the duo finds a bicycle/motorcycle near a barn

i think theres some evil adult group making the teenagers do it and the mom of the girl is one of them

i read it probably like 3ish years ago
