Read 2010-2013. I don't remember much, but I think everyone in the city turned into vampires or something, except the protagonist girl and her brother. There was an incident in a grocery store I think where the girl and her brother took all the food they wanted (maybe), OR where all of the vampires laid face down to recharge or something. And the girl and brother pretended to lie down too I think.
