Not a book rec but in my opinion if you want to be more original or just write better you should read outside of what you're writing. If you're writing fantasy read Historical fiction, horror, literary fiction etc, you'll learn a lot. Also some people need to let go of their prejudices and get into other forms of media too. They're GREAT inspiration(i.e. Movies, Manga, Story Games, Visual Novels etc)
