Book Check-In ! How are we feeling about our books so far? Are we enjoying the characters? The story-line? etc.

I am currently reading "Lie To Me" and it does not have chapter numbers but I'm 27% done with it right now and its a pretty long book. Anyhoo, it's supposed to be something like Gone Girl which is a movie and book about a woman that has gone "missing" and the husband being pointed to as the suspect. That's all the information I went into this book with and I actually wanted to read Gone Girl but the reviews were terrible :\ but I may still watch the movie. But, I don't really have an attachment to any characters so far which isn't a bad thing because its just the beginning and I have a long way to go before I finish. I also think its a little slow paced and I don't like how they mention something but don't give you any insight on it until a few chapters later, it almost feels like a cliff-hanger when I finish each chapter. Besides it being a little slow paced though, I'm kinda excited to see where this goes, I can already tell it's not going to really draw me in, I feel lifetime movie vibes from it but of course I will post updates when it gets interesting or something drastic happens. I can't wait to hear how you like "We Were Liars" !!!! I really hope you like it :((
