Pass The Parcel Round 22 - TEAM 5 WINS!

I think I figured it out! I hope this link will work since I am logged into my Amazon Account but I found a search page! https://www.amazon.com/b/?ie=UTF8&...
Looks like you can put in a keyword, so Austria for example, and then select the "subject", which I select Romance, and then clicked search and it brings up all kindle books but you can then further filter down to KU specific search.

Just goes to amazon.com, where did you find it?

It isn'tpublished until Dec 2024 so not sure how you will read it for the challenge?
BTW - I couldn't see how your non-fiction 'Does this Beach make me fat' fits with mainland EU but if there's a tag or list that shows an EU mainland country, then it is fine...

It’s out in kindle next month and I have for an arc from net galley. That was for the beach prompt not this one was just making sure it was allowed so I can save it for that one. Gone to Pieces: The whip-smart moving and uplifting comedy fiction debut of 2024

So I went to Amazon Online (not the app), went to All, clicked Kindle EReaders, which then pulls up more selections, I then clicked Kindle Books, then at the top of the Kindle Books page in fairly small print there's a list of different selections - Buy a Kindle, Kindle Rewards, Kindle ebooks, Kindle Unlimited, etc., so if you keep looking at that list of selections on the top on the further right side of the list you'll see Advanced Search. Click that and then that will be the page I shared! I hope that explains it well.

Thank you! The link went directly to the advanced search, so I'm going to bookmark that.

Omerta: Part 1

Hi S - the Amalfi Coast is in Italy, so Omerta works due to its precis :)
(Qualifications need to be found on the book's page/tags/lists that you are reading, not the first book in a series since series can jump all over the place in terms of settings etc.)

Here is a more definitive list prepared by one of the teams (thanks Shan):
Austria | Belgium | Croatia | Czechia | Denmark | Estonia | Finland | France | Germany | Greece | Hungary | Iceland | Italy | Latvia | Liechtenstein | Lithuania | Luxembourg| Malta | Netherlands | Norway | Poland | Portugal | Slovakia | Slovenia | Spain | Sweden |
Switzerland | Russia | Romania
Wiki specifically states the western side of Russia IS part of Europe.
Europe is commonly considered to be separated from Asia by the watershed of the Ural Mountains, the Ural River, the Caspian Sea, the Greater Caucasus, the Black Sea, and the waterway of the Bosporus Strait.[12]
Europe covers about 10.18 million km2 (3.93 million sq mi), or 2% of Earth's surface (6.8% of land area), making it the second-smallest continent (using the seven-continent model). Politically, Europe is divided into about fifty sovereign states, of which Russia is the largest and most populous, spanning 39% of the continent and comprising 15% of its population.
Please note, this task is based on geography only.

Does the book's page or shelves mention one of the mainland EU countries?

This is recognised diplomatically as well as geographically.

Blurb does: Learn to drive on motorways.• Use above skill to run away to France.• Begin new life in France under assumed name.Rebecca is a wife, mother and the author of an unmanageable number of to do lists.
Her attempts to coerce her life into something she has any hope of controlling are failing. Her family can’t manage without her but she’s starting to think they should. So she makes a decision. Only it doesn’t quite go to plan.
Rebecca finds herself in therapy with a doctor poking around in her brain, asking questions about her childhood. She wants to get better but that means telling someone how she feels. How she really feels.
She’s gone to pieces. Can she put herself back together?

Yes - because it is both, I left it in :)

No - it needs something more specific.

Yes. Its fine to use since you already have the ARC.
If it hasn't yet been published and you don't have the ARC, it won't count. This is due to publication dates being deferred quite regularly. I will add this ruling to the Q&As at the beginning of this thread.

Thanks

Yes.
How to manage your posting is covered in the Q&A at the beginning of this thread :)
Q: If a team member is reading a book in another language, should they post the book link in the selection & completion posts to the non-English version or to the English version?
A: Please link all books to the English version of that book. The book MUST have an English version to qualify for use during this challenge. (Apologies to everyone that is affected by this rule, but I need to know that the book qualifies for the theme etc.)

You're welcome, happy to help. Scroll all the way down and you'll find it on the list.

In summary, any book set in the USA will work, no matter which state. I will even allow Hawaii since I didn't exclude it up front and it is one the US states!
Kat - your two books both work. One precis mentions Oregon and the other Massachusetts.

I believe you have posted in the wrong thread Kat :)

Wondered where that had gone so sorry!
