Why indeed we are!Once, my (older) cousin said “To be or not to be” and I proceeded to finish the entire rest of that poem. It’s the only Shakespeare poem I know by memory, but “O.o” describes his face pretty accurately. He was definitely shocked 😂.

It is old because it has survived the ages. It has weathers slang and opinions and critics and still stands! The sands of time have done nothing to faze it and it remains in the face of modern day people. It lives on inside those of us who are old at soul and speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves. Poetry is a gift that more should cherish, for it is precious.
