Emily(Cardan's and Nikolai's version) (emsestrada) | 9 comments Can someone recommend any good books that are like dark romantasy? Or a book that is fantasy/fiction and has a sarcastic love interest because I can't get over my huge crush on Selwyn Kane from Legendborn.... 🫠 (For any context, I like PJO, THG, Divergent, The Darkest Minds, and HoO) Any recs? 🙏

Argo | 22 comments The magicians by lev grossman its a fantasy book. And the official love interest is really annoying but the main character’s beastie is really sarcastic and funny. Its a trilogy and each book is only like 400 pages

Emily(Cardan's and Nikolai's version) (emsestrada) | 9 comments Thank you, I may give this one a read soon!!

Emily(Cardan's and Nikolai's version) (emsestrada) | 9 comments OOOOUUU!! I will definitely be looking for this at my bookstore 👀 Thank you!

Benedito Evandro I Recommend: You - Caroline Kepnes
“Have you ever fallen so deeply in love with someone that you would do anything to have them by your side?” This is the question that permeates every page of Caroline Kepnes’ book “You,” a work that takes us into the disturbing and fascinating world of Joe Goldberg, a man who becomes obsessed with Guinevere Beck and is willing to do whatever it takes to have her.
I've written a Review about the book, if you wanna have an idea:

Kylee (kyleeraereader) | 32 comments It's not out yet but I read an arc of The Hollow and the Haunted and the love interest was giving big time Selwyn Kane snarky sarcastic sass lol and White Hot Kiss is a bit of an older series but the love interest is a very sarcastic demon

Ninon | 6 comments A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Mass got me out of my book slump (and the sequel A Court of Mist and Fury is even better), along with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black.

Ninon | 6 comments Also, since you like mythology (i gather from HoO and PJO), there’s, The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, which is a gay, YA rewrite of what happens in the Iliad (I haven’t personally read it, but it’s in my tbr, and I’ve heard it’s very good). Ooh and NEW-A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St Clair, which is the Hades and Persephone love story but in the modern world (it’s very very smutty though)

Have you read The Serpent and the Wings of Night? It's pretty good.
