I was heartened to read, in the intro, that the version I have isn't the original he wrote at 17, that his (then) 43 (I think it said) year old self edited it somewhat... Making it, in his words, a sort of collaborative effort.

Not very far in yet, but, so far, it seems to have that Pratchett glint.
