Can anyone recommend books/audio books about William James, his work and his influence on the field of psychology? I'd appreciate reading your suggestions and comments. Thanks!

but that's just volume 1.... there's also volume 2. A bit much. But I think there are much more concise distillations of his thought. Try starting with encyclopedia entries; the bibliographies/references/recommended reading at the bottom of such articles can come in quite handy.
