I am trying to find this book. I cannot remember the author or title. It was written in the last 10 years or so. It takes place in the past and present. The woman lives with her daughter and granddaughter than has fallen pregnant young. Her husband has recently died. She has to worry about possibly selling the family beach home due to not being able to afford it all. Chapters go back and forth between characters as well. Goes back in time to talk about when she was a child and then her parents as well. The family bought a house and passed it down. It was the summer house I believe. I want to say it was on cape cod or a bay.

Hi, this is a long shot and isn't a one-word title but it sounds similar to the plot of this Our Place on the Island. It's set in Martha's Vineyard and features Dual timelines and features a grandmother her daughter and her granddaughter but I'm not sure of the other details, hope this helps :)
