Issues with Quotes > [DONE] Typo in a quote

Daniel | 68 comments This quote from The Origin of Satan: How Christians Demonized Jews, Pagans, and Heretics (1995) by Elaine Pagels contains a typo:
[...] apparendy without asking anyone’s permission [...]
The word "apparendy" should be "apparently". This typo is present in the PDF version of the book (it looks suspiciously like an OCR error from scanning the original printed version). Is it Goodreads policy to correct obvious typos in quotes that are present in a source book?

Hi Daniel

I don't think a typo needs to be kept - especially since there are other editions of the book. Corrected & I also corrected some odd coding.
