Sci Fi hacker hit man/assassin main character, may have word "Cat" in title; 1985-2000 publish

Future Earth/hacker/cyberpunk style. Main character is male, idealized skills and appearance; very tech savvy and weapon savvy.

The most clear recollection of this story was the main character trying to launder money by instantaneously moving currencies around the world via encoded computer links.

He is involuntarily hired by some kind of powerful entity to do some work, possibly a killing or theft, but I can't remember.

He also seems to have a network of scriptkiddies to contact throughout his adventure.

May have had some sort of body augmentation (cyborg eye?)

I remember this as a paperback.

There is a cyber punk series by Joan D. Vinge with a main character named Cat. First book is Psion. Second book and more likely to be the one you are thinking of is Catspaw

I have read those, but those are not the book(s) I am looking for.
I don't know why I think I remember there's a "Cat" in the title, I've been trying all the AI searches for the plotline also.

The book I'm trying to remember is also a future Earth/early cyberpunk style.
