so basically this book is a childrens book for kids and im from the uk. (norfolk) I must have read this book when i was around 4, 5 or 6 maybe even 7 so about like 2011-2014
I dont remember alot about the story but i do know that it is about a gigantic blue (i think scaly) looking whale and a town full of people in which the whale gets beached on the town and basically the towns people have to figure out how to deal with the gigantic whale in their town. THese are the vague things i remember about the book. The more specific things i remmeber for some reason is that i remember one of the fishermans saying something about cooking the whale then the whale says something like
"they'll cut me up into little pieces and make me into fish pie" and hes obviously really sad about it. Another thing i remember about the book is that theres a page where all the townspeople are standing on the whales tail sticking out of the water in order to stay out of the water, but thats all i remember. Please help me out and let me know if you can find this book :pray:
