girls older sister does a student exchange program to Norway. The exchange student that comes to live w/ younger sister name ingrid

Roughly what year did you read it? Could it be Abby Spencer Goes to Bollywood by Varsha Bajaj? Abby's friend Zoey hosts an exchange student from Norway called Ingrid, but Zoey isn't the main character and it's not the main plot of the book.
