SOLVED. Old book about twin sisters. [s]

YEARS ago I read an old book about twin sisters. I can only remember the name of one sister, Enid. They had a friend named Pink, but I think he wanted to be called Red. They went on a ski trip with their class, and one twin couldn’t ski because she broke her ankle. It is a really old book, I think written between 1940-1960.
