Begins with a girl riding a bus to some sort of temporary living situation, foster care, rehabilitation? I'm not sure. the new place is surrounded by woods and the family she's staying with is tasked with taking care of animals. I'm pretty sure she ends up finding out that there are Unicorns in one of the barns. There may have been elements of Noah's Ark, they were collecting the animals to save from some sort of apocalypse/flood?
