YA book that I read years ago where this group of kids join a club and the club members hate this one teacher who makes them copy a page from the dictionary when they get in trouble, I remember loving it in 2017

This book is told through the perspective of a girl who joins a club, this club is like misfits or something. She gets in trouble in class then is forced to copy a page from the dictionary. Later she meets a guy who gives advice to only write in pages with pictures so you get ti write less.
Another key part I remember is someone saying they can write the dictionary page with the word “ass” then saying they know it’s just a donkey but still. I loved this book in 2017/2018 and would love to know the name of it, thanks!
