Okay I feel like I'm going crazy trying to find this book hahah!!

Details

- the paragraph breakers where little pictures of crows/ravens
- the main characters love interest had a mutilated hand (missing fingers)
- the story revolves around the prince, the thief with mutilated hands, and the girl journeying to uncover a plot to kill the king?
- the girls father dies whilst at the castle under suspicious circumstances.
- at the end, the prince decides to travel to world to create a dictionary
- there is a Canon involved in the last action scene in the book
- The theif? Guy likes horses. Not entirely sure he's a theif.
I read the book in the middle 2010s but believe I got it second hand so probably older.
