Thank you!
What I do remember: it advises that when you have a term paper or other research project, you should look at the due date, and then count backwards on your calendar, dividing the project into fractional periods of time (i.e. thirds or fourths). You can then assign one aspect of doing the project (such as research) to one of the periods.
Also, when you are doing a research paper, you are answering questions or positing theories. The book recommends you get a stack of index cards, and when you've outlined your paper's structure, write each section of the outline on an index card. As you proceed to write the paper, you will be addressing the question or theory on each index card. When you've made your way through the stack of cards, you should be finished.
I believe there were also some rules about how to cite other works in your paper.
I think the cover had some bright colors on it (blue and yellow, maybe) and it was a slim book. Measuring about 3.5" x 7". Cover was glossy.
Thank you!
