I have read one chapter but my son went to the movies so I'm watching 50 Shades. Don't know what I think yet. I really should be reading because I never have time to do that.

Ooh, I really enjoyed the movie and laughed throughout but we watched it in the cinema and had a great crowd who heckled

WTH! Did this movie just end in the middle of the book? I saw enough boobies to last me forever. I didn't realize you could show that much flesh in a movie. I guess its been a while since I have been to one. I'm not opposed to the S&M thing, in fact I rather like it however this just seemed...I don't know, not quite there. Oh well...back to my reading.

Yeah, it finished just like the end of book 1 but they left out so much crucial scenes though. I thought it was actually done tastefully and have seen much worse from TV shows lately lol

Okay I'm up to chapter 7 and its picked up exactly where it left off and there's already some action :D I'm really enjoying it so far
Maybe I should watch TV more then. No telling what my son is seeing on there.
I'm about finished with The Deal then I'm going to continue this one.

Depends on what show he is watching. Throw some names out there and I'll let you know.

I know he's back into the wrestling thing, then there's Walking Dead but it's over, then well...he watches YouTube a lot. That's what I need to see.

There is so much crap on YouTube!
There is so much crap on YouTube!
There is Sylvia. I was listening to what he was watching today, he thought I was reading, and it was wrestling. These kids think just because I'm reading I don't know what's going on around me.
Yup it's a scary world we live in and as parents it's even scarier! All the crap that our kids are privy to is daunting to say the least and that's not even counting on all the second hand crap they get from friends and others at school and stuff. It makes it so hard to get any peace of mind I tell you. We have to keep constant vigil just to make sure we can catch stuff in time and steer them clear as much as possible. Being a parent is so tough.
I'm on chapter 6 and there is a little action Sylvia. I hope it keeps up this good through the whole book.
Up to chapter 14. The action picks up as you go. Let me know what you think of Rachel so far. Happy reading!
Haven't had time for any reading today, since it was Easter Sunday and we just got home now from a big day out (it's 9.15pm) we are exhausting.
I hope it stays action based throughout the book too, Tracy and it's good to know L. that so far it is :D

Hope you had a delightful Easter Sylvia. We are starting ours since it's 7am here. I will try to read a chapter or two before the kids get up. If I can get off GR long enough.

We have had fun as well Sylvia. We grilled hamburgers, because it's my sons favorite. They played a very generic game of tennis, and by that I mean with the easter basket tennis racket and threw a fresbee and played basketball. They will be exhausted by bedtime.

Did you just get up Sylvia? It's 7:30 pm here and I could almost go to bed myself. Kids wear me out, especially my great nephew who is a 7 yo. I wish I had half his energy.

It's now Monday, 10.30am and we are about to head out. Hubby and Tristan are going to watch a football game live while Archer and I are hanging out at my parents to eat leftovers lol Kids definitely wear you out so much and I really don't know where they get their energy from cause even as a kid I was never buzzing off my head like my boys are lol

Thank goodness the action has picked up at around 30% of the book. I was starting to get a bit bored with it. I mean it's not bad at all it just wasn't great you know? I had the same issue with the first book. It was rather slow to build until like halfway into it. Hopefully now that it's finally picked up some it keeps the momentum going. I will say that I really like Willow a lot. She's a straight shooter that one and doesn't go around mincing words and can duke it out with the best of them. Rachel gets on my nerves with so much freaking moping and wallowing! Yeah, okay, we get it. She's suffering and guilt ridden and whatnot but geez girl! But on your big-girl panties and haul butt already! Logan kind of sorta reminds me a little of Pery from UtNS :) he's all gumption and brass and smarts and hottness LOL! And Quinn is kind of cute with his broodiness and stealth and bravery and mysteriousness. How's everyone else liking it so far??
I like Willow as well Belkis. The way she defends her brother is pretty awesome. I like Quinn a lot and I'm not sure that he won't be doing a little something for or to Rachel.
Tracy wrote: "I like Willow as well Belkis. The way she defends her brother is pretty awesome. I like Quinn a lot and I'm not sure that he won't be doing a little something for or to Rachel."Yes Tracy I think the same in regards to Quinn & Rachel
I'm at 30% as well and poor Logan was put in a situation he didn't want and now he is having to prove himself.
Hi everyone! I'm happy to see you had a lovely Easter. Had a nice one here, too. So far the book has kept me interested. See why I was asking about Rachel? She was getting on my nerves with all that whining, but she seems to be snapping out of it, a little, at least, and now she's becoming too tough for my liking. Strong female characters are great, but I hope she doesn't turn into this ninja-nothing messes with me, kinda girl. Huh, I was thinking the same about Quinn and Rachel. Wonder where that's leading. Quinn's a great character, and I really like Willow, as well. Logan's got a lot on his plate, but he's doing a good job so far. I keep wondering why the tech is malfunctioning if it worked fine the first time they used it in the Wastelands.
Hey L, I think the tech stuff may be because someone is messing with Logan. I still haven't figured out who that is yet.
Tracy wrote: "Hey L, I think the tech stuff may be because someone is messing with Logan. I still haven't figured out who that is yet."That's what I suspect. What do you think? Someone inside or outside their circle? This thing with Melkin has me thinking...
I'm not sure L. I think it may be someone inside since they leave messages in his tent. I would think an outsider would have been noticed.
I'm 43% in and although it doesn't have a lot going on in this one the little "who done it" has kept me interested.
