Sarah | 2 comments I read this book some time between 2012-2017, and I remember it being new-ish. There were different time periods that were coexisting together (like old west next to futuristic).

There was a character that had no facial features and she wore a veil to hide this. The protagonist was a teen girl. At some point she was in Boston when the molasses flood happened. I think the goal of the protagonist was to prevent the different time periods from colliding and causing chaos.

The edges of the pages were deckled (At least on the copy of the book I had), and there was purple on the cover of the book.

SBC (essbeecee) | 1594 comments It sounds like The Matchmakers' Trilogy by S.E. Grove - the first book is The Glass Sentence
