Book is for YA young teen boy who get in trouble with the law and is sent to live with an old women. The book is mystery and fantasy read between 2011-13.

Pretty sure there is some magic or sorcery but I’m not sure I think the young teen starts having dreams about the old woman and the place that he’s in
Is it set in modern times / our world? Or a medieval-esque fantasy world, or space / futuristic? Where's the old woman's house set? Suburbia, or in the middle of the desert, or..? :)I don't suppose you can remember what sort of crime he supposedly committed? :)
It was set in modern time he was living in a big city and then set to live with an old woman who was living in the middle of nowhere he was blowing up things with fireworks and this was not his first crime. I hope this helps
The old woman was mean and she would make tuna sandwiches. The cover was black and red. I remember the book was on playaway audiobooks. The boy got in trouble for blowing things up and this was not the first offense. When he moved in he traveled by train and the old woman picked him up at the train station. The old woman has secrets and something that involves him but he doesn’t know.
