SPOILER ALERT !!! - Fairly vulnerable female main character who has to work on ship (can’t remember why). The Captain is a bad guy and forces her into certain sexual acts ( i think she kills him at some point). She has some connection to the sea but fairly sure she wasn’t a mermaid or siren or anything.
