https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... I just finished reading this Stephen King 🤴 novel I enjoyed it this morning while taking in the quietness 🤫 around me. Took me time to enjoy this small thriller, today I decided to pick up the book after putting on hold for a bit so I completed the read this morning reading 154 pgs, prior to the 124 pgs I had previously read totally to 278 pgs. Noice 🎉🙌🏼👏 happy reading to all!

by J.D. Vance w..."I read Hillbilly Elegy and liked it, and I thought Vance was a fairly positive sort of character. I was disappointed when he reversed his position and joined the Trump chorus. Scheming for power? It seems to have worked out for him. Maybe he will be a stabilizing force in another Trump administration.
The Briar Club
isn’t a typical mystery but has a great ending. My four star review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Now I'm really looking forward to Irish author Donal Ryan's August follow-up to The Spinning Heart, because the characters in this award-winning novel are unforgettable. Terrific read.

Dream Town by Lee Goldberg. Another fast moving and fun mystery from him. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Death's Door
by James BennBilly Boyle #7 ............. It's 1944 and the Allied armies are fighting their way up the Italian peninsula. Billy is tasked to investigate a murder in the Vatican which is in a delicate situation because the Germans control Rome. This is another suspenseful adventure with a good deal of actual history included. I'm reading the series in order and this is a good one -- 4 stars.

I am so 🍀! I won a 📕 on Goodreads! I just started it and am on page 100 so I can say that I really like it as it is well written. Has an interesting plot! So far 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Just thought I’d let you all know as I have read so many book written lately with so much meaningless filler! The book is Murder at King’s Crossing by Andrea Penrose! I’ve never read anything by her before but will look for more of her books ! 🥸. Thank you, Goodreads👏🏻
Now starting SHANGHAI by Joseph Kanon, his latest stand alone mystery/thriller novel set in 1939 as World War II is looming on the horizon.
I'm ending the week with another Christmas themed cozy
Sugarplum Dead by Carolyn Hart https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm new to popular crime author Don Winslow, and I've been enjoying his entertaining short stories. Inept surfing accountant Downward Facing Doug relies on his Dawn Patrol surfer friends for protection from beach bullies, but he gets his revenge. Satisying. 😊
My review of Downward Facing Doug
Free Billy is another charming short story from crime writer Don Winslow about a young guy who decides he can live for free. Good fun.

The Stainless Steel Rat
by Harry HarrisonThe first entry in the Stainless Steel Rat series which is the adventures of Jim diGriz a top level thief and con man in the 30th century. Fun, witty, fast-moving adventure/thriller. I liked it and I'll probably read another book in the series although it's not written at a very high level so it's impossible to take seriously. 3 stars.
I finished No Road Home by John Fram
A must-read!
Five stars: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished How Can I Help You by Laura Sims
