I believe this has some spoilers, so you have been warned! This was my favorite quote, it stood out to me as a summation of Selene as a character and how she grew as the book progressed "'If she had wanted to kill me, she would have done that already, isn't that right, Lady Selene?' 'Yes.' There was no emotion in her voice. Only sadness reflected in her eyes." (Chapter 35)
