Finished but with relief!

After enjoying Alice Hunter's debut thriller The Serial Killer’s Wife, I was disappointed by her new psychological thriller. While the premise was good, the execution fell short of what it could have been. The constant first person narrative became repetitive and the other characters were poorly developed, particularly the perpetrator.

The Lore Olympus graphic novel series is highly rated, but I couldn't stand the romanticisation of the toxic relationships. Very much the outlier on this one. I read the first two books and then abandoned the series.
