Patrick, I hope the conclusion of the Olympics finds you able to relax a bit more and that you efforts were successful, whatever they may have been.

New book added. Now I realise that I've lost track of which one was supposed to be the Wish List book...

message 42: by Gail (new)

Gail (gailifer) | 2173 comments Yes, I thought it was Busconductor Hines until I went to post the review. It doesn’t really matter. Open to anything and don’t need points.

message 43: by Gail (new)

Gail (gailifer) | 2173 comments I have read Couples, Passersby and posted a very short review.

message 44: by Gail (new)

Gail (gailifer) | 2173 comments Patrick, as noted above I did read Couples, Passersby and just now finished Go Tell It on the Mountain and also posted a very short review for that. I may sneak in the Pharaoh and the Priest but obviously I am not going to get to the Thomas Mann. Really Joseph and his Brothers was enough for one year. So we will call it a wrap for 2024. Thank you

Oh, I missed that October update... I recall I was quite busy at that time, so I probably saw it, put it on the "To do later" pile and forgot about it. I've added two new picks, just in case it makes it easier for you.
