2024 Lounge-wide Classics Challenge

Since our 2023 challenge (which still has another day to go!) has been a success, I thought it was time to post a similar thread for 2024! As before, to take part, just post a comment as your "tracking post." Then, starting on Jan. 1, just use the "edit" function to update it with a numbered list of each classic you read. Remember, we use 1950 as a rough terminal date, after which books are considered too recent to be classics (though exceptions can be made in some cases).
