Zbirka pesama I dan i noć satkana je od boja slivenih u svetlost koja vodi, greje, uznosi i kad prži. Katkad ona i zaslepljuje bleskom bele svetlosti koja ne čili ni kada se knjiga zaklopi. Eros, tanatos i pesnička fikcija izraženi u brojnim imaginativnim varijacijama, dosledno su sačuvani od „estetike ružnog“. U prvom delu zbirke oči lirskog subjekta skupljale su svetlost ovog sveta kao u ogledalu, ritmično reflektujući prečišćenu mnogoznačnost kao majstori haikua, upečatljivo i svedeno. U ciklusu Epilog, lajtmotivska belina je prigušena, osenčena, ogledalo malko zamagljeno. Da noć ne zacari, na umetničkoj vagi poslužiće i lucisan humor. Svest o prolaznosti, seta i strepnja ne umanjuje zahvalnost na svakom trenu i zraku koji život čine vrednim pevanja…
