Read this probably 10 years ago and it was a cheap paperback trilogy. Title of first book was either *something* & Thorn, or Thorn & *something*. Main characters were a brother/sister. I'm not sure of the plot, but it involved the sister realising she had magic and cheating at cards im a casino setting. The plot also revolved around the sister's magic corrupting her or something. I don't remember much else. Thanks in advance to everyone who takes a look at this!
