Book about two different children immigrating with their families.

One is a boy on a boat to Cuba(?) during WW2, and the other is about a girl who rides a boat/raft alongside her family and neighbors family as well. Both stories were inside one book and I can't find it for the life of me.

Refugee by Alan Gratz seems likely.

It has three main characters from three different eras. One is from Nazi Germany who is on "the voyage of the damned" (the MS St. Louis from Germany to Cuba; Cuba changed its immigration policy while the ship was midway and refused entry to most of the passengers). Another is from Cuba trying to escape to the US after the Soviet dissolution in the 1990s.
