Middle Grade/ YA High Fantasy. Girl with a bow & arrow is observing (or maybe trying to assassinate?) a teenage prince from a bell tower during someone's crowning ceremony. Read around 2016-2018.

I read this book 3-5 years ago, so it might be slightly old (but a 21st century novel) and all I can remember is that close to the beginning of the novel, a teen girl was armed with a bow (not Hunger Games btw) and was perched in a tower of some kind, watching a crowning ceremony. I believe it takes place in a high fantasy setting. There was also something about an important tapestry and a chest near the end. It's probably geared towards young adults or middle grades.
Edit: At some point in the story the protagonist gains entry to a palace/castle of some sort.

upon further thinking, I think that the girl wasn't trying to assassinate him and was just observing. The prince was a teenager and younger than 21. I don't remember anything about her parents, & I believe he wasn't the one being crowned.
