I couldn't live on the islands of Scotland's Outer Hebrides, but they are fascinating. Award-winning author Peter May's trilogy about The Lewis Man is being expanded. This is the second, and I'm trying to catch up before #4 comes out!

Unbalanced by D.P. Lyle is an entertaining light read with a touch of humour, #7 in a series featuring laid back characters who work for a private detective agency in Alabama and seem to spend a lot of time eating and drinking Margueritas. review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
With a new Amgash novel by Elizabeth Strout on the horizon, one that features Olive Kitteridge, I thought I’d better get up to date on Olive’s series. Late to the party, 5★s for Olive Kitteridge Kimberly Farr’s narration is flawless.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Ocultos by Laura Pérez
A graphic short story collection that was too weird and surreal for my liking.

Two Doors Down by Mary Hargreaves
A good book, but not at all a romcom as advertised. Thankfully, I like drama better than romcoms, so it worked well for me.

I had no idea that The Cold Cold Ground was set in the time and place where Adrian McKinty grew up - Belfast during The Troubles. It's the first of his Detective Sean Duffy series. I read book 6 and wanted to see where Duffy started. Glad I did.
