PattyMacDotComma | 3327 comments I haven't read everything (yet) that much-loved Aussie author Garry Disher has written, but I can recommend everything I have, and his brand new standalone novel, Sanctuary, is right up there.

Grace Latimer is a crook. Well, yes, but she has reasons - give her a break!

A good debut that could have been great had it reduced the number of topics. Still, might be interesting to historical fiction readers as it covers plenty of events from 1911-12 Ireland.

Love the author and his books but this the #8 th book in the series has been the weakest so far considering there are a couple of novellas in between too.
