PattyMacDotComma | 3310 comments I haven't read everything (yet) that much-loved Aussie author Garry Disher has written, but I can recommend everything I have, and his brand new standalone novel, Sanctuary, is right up there.

Grace Latimer is a crook. Well, yes, but she has reasons - give her a break!

PattyMacDotComma | 3310 comments Everywhere You Look by Liv Constantine is the first of six Amazon Original Stories in their Never Tell collection. Secrets and lies abound. I hope I enjoy the next ones more than this.

Rachel (mimbza) | 697 comments The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab is a story about a French girl who makes a Faustian bargain for eternal freedom, but in the process ends up with 300 years of no one ever remembering her name…until one day someone finally does. ⭐⭐⭐ here is my review

I loved this magical fantasy-thriller so much! Way more than most of my friends did! It's always fun to be an outlier on the positive side. :D

PattyMacDotComma | 3310 comments “A lot of people who aren’t Native don’t know this story,“ said Pulitzer Prize winner Tommy Orange about his second book, Wandering Stars. Now there's no excuse for not knowing about the Florida prisons and boarding schools where the Southern Cheyenne were sent.

Maid of Steel by Kate Baker
A good debut that could have been great had it reduced the number of topics. Still, might be interesting to historical fiction readers as it covers plenty of events from 1911-12 Ireland.

From Hell (Alex Hunter, #8) by Greig Beck
⭐⭐⭐ stars

#audible #sci-fi #creaturefeature #thriller
Love the author and his books but this the #8 th book in the series has been the weakest so far considering there are a couple of novellas in between too.
#awesome concept and start. Slows down in between.
