Monstrous Regiment

Raven's Shadow
Howl’s Moving Castle

Arrows of the Queen
Rosemary and Rue
Down Among the Sticks and Bones
Granted it's been a while since I read Arrows

Written in Red by Anne Bishop is the first in the Others series.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows
The Siren or The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Hagenheim Series by Melanie Dickerson
To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
The Glittering Court by Richelle Mead

Naomi Novik's Scholomance series A Deadly Education is really good, too.

Melanie Cellier also writes likable, smart female characters. Haven't found one of her books I didn't like and I've read most of them.

The Jasmine Throne
Ombria in Shadow
Fireheart Tiger
Skulduggery Pleasant
Scar Night
The Golden Compass

Their age doesnt matter. I can read highschool stuff or grown up stuff. Doesnt matter.
I also dont want to male lead to be cruel to famale lead. When I read books that ml treats fl like an a** the whole book and in the end when we learn that he had a troumatic past fl forgive everything. Aaaggghhh I am mad as hell and i usually stop reading. He can be like the villan, he can be rival, he can be friend, he can be idk bad but when he is downright cruel to ppl just for the kick of it and then forgiven after learning their past I am done with that book.
I read a lot of fantasy books. So you can suggest a couple of series.
